Our 5 ton shredding trucks can shred 600 drives per hour and over 10 drives a minute at your location. Transporting hard drives and other loose media with sensitive data comes with significant risk. Lifespan’s shredding trucks allow companies the option to safely and securely destroy their data bearing media on-site, eliminating the risk associated with the job. Destruction services include: on-site shredding and degaussing of tapes and hard drives; destruction of classified materials; and incineration services. Lifespan destruction services are offered across North America.
Our services can be performed inside your facility so your data bearing devices never leave the building. We will physically destroy your disk drives and other electronic storage media rendering the electronically stored data un-retrievable, giving you complete peace of mind.

Our mobile service for on-site hard drive shredding is ideal for shredding and/or degaussing large quantities of media. Our fully equipped and automated vehicles can pull-up to any building or loading dock and destroy hard drives. Hard drives can be shredded into miniscule particles.
With advanced forensics and recovery techniques, disc shredding size is critically important. Our proprietary four shaft technology, which is self-contained and self-powered in our trucks and warehouses, allows us to shred any type of material down to the size of a dime on your site as you watch. The on-site hard drive shredding process not only cuts and shreds the metal but, by forcing it through the cutters and screens, it also compacts the hard drive rendering it completely unrecoverable.
Our standardized policies, procedures and training guarantee destruction exceeding mandatory legal guidelines. Our on-site hard drive shredding process has been certified by an independent third party using classified recovery methods. A full copy of that report is available upon request. Hard drive shredding is performed by trained technicians who have all undergone background checks, signed confidentiality agreements and passed the government e-Verify check.
While shredding hard drives, the process can be overseen by our customers, recorded to DVD, monitored remotely via a dedicated IP address or overseen and verified by personnel with a secret-level security clearance.
Our nationally recognized Certificates of Destruction contain a complete list of serial numbers, manufacturers and model numbers for compliance and audit purposes.
